Welcome to the Dallas Down River Club Stream Team The Dallas Down River Club is active at two sites, The Standing Wave Park on the Trinity River and a spot on Cedar Creek just down stream from the 8th Street near Corinth.Join us on the 1st Sunday of the month, generally around 10:00am when when start sampling. Sometimes it is a bit earlier.The Standing wave park on the Trinity has been an active site since Dec. 2012.
Cedar Creek is our other site. It is located just about 1/2 mile away but represents a rather different type of water body. The Trinity flows at 300 CFS much of the time where Cedar Creek is doing well to be 5 CFS.
We provide the Texas Stream team with valuable information about the quality of the local rivers and creeks.
