Moonlight Float

We will meet at Trinity Park on River Dr., just before the Lancaster Ave Bridge, around 6:30 pm, and then have a picnic while we wait for the sun to go down. Around 8pm we will set off down the river and make the tour of downtown Fort Worth. We should have a nice full moon, as well as the lights of the city, to enjoy.
Bring your own meal, and maybe a little to share. Bring plenty of beverages, but remember - NO GLASS OR FOAM POLYSTYRENE STYROFOAM CONTAINERS!
Bring your own boats (just about any seaworthy craft will do for this trip), PFD's (lifejackets), paddles (a spare is recommended), a whistle or other signaling device, and a single white light visible from 360° is required.
Driving Directions From Dallas:
Take IH 30 West through downtown Fort Worth, and then exit at University Drive.
After U-turn at exit, turn LEFT at light onto So. University Drive, and then right into Trinity Park on Crestline Drive.
Turn RIGHT onto Trinity Park Drive and then LEFT onto River Drive to where we are parked adjacent to the river (on the opposite side of the road from the river.)
